The back wall of the compartment had to be dremeled out so the unit could be mounted further back and flush with the dash.  This keeps the disk tray from touching the shifter and keeps it out of sight better.  Here's some pics with the trim finished.

I'm using an FM Modulator from Audiovox and the sound is very good.  Playing dvd's through my system is better than sitting in a theatre.

 

For the TV I have a 7" widescreen flip down LCD from T-View.  It has a very good picture and wide viewing angle.
